1. Always use a metal rule.
2. Decide whether you wish to fix the blind on the inside or outside of the window reveal/ recess.
3. On inside recess, measure width & drop in several places, always order the smaller size (all allowances will be made in the factory)
4. On outside recess blinds, we recommend a 3" overlap on each measurement, and order blind size (on a roller blind this will be pin or cloth width).

Inside recess - If blind is to be fitted inside window recess give exact wall to wall dimensions and lintel to sill. We will then make the necessary allowance tor clearance, i.e. minus 15mm or 1/2 in'.

Outside recess - If blind is to be fitted outside window recess the blind will be supplied to the exact dimensions you have given us.

• Recess, pin or cloth (see diagram)
• Fabric code
• Shape, finish & braid (if required)
• Control option -left/right (side winder).
• Spring alternative (if required)

Roller blinds:- Materials will be 40mm or 1 1/2 in less than the size stated on width.

Venetian (wood/metal)

• Width.
• Drop
• Inside/outside recess
• Slat size, code & colour
